The materials, liquid or solid lubricants and manufacturing processes are qualified and proven. The range of bearings is extensive: from 1 to 330 mm. ADR selects the most appropriate materials, such as stainless steels, ceramics, superalloys, etc., at the design stage.
These solutions guarantee reliability, strength and longevity in aggressive environments.

Marine surveillance services
ALSEAMAR uses innovative surface drones and subsea gliders for independent observation of the marine environment.
These turnkey services are used to collect data and analyse it in order to respond to a wide range of missions: scientific research, oceanography, protection of the marine environment, water quality monitoring, recording of ambient noise, intervention in the event of hydrocarbon leaks, detection of natural gas or oil leaks, Baseline studies and Metocean operations for oil operators.
The SeaExplorer subsea glider is a detection platform perfectly suited to these operations. A high-endurance, autonomous subsea drone, it was designed to collect data over large areas (thousands of kilometres), over long periods (months) and at great depths (1,000 m) thanks to the integration of a wide range of specific sensors.
Controlled from land, propelled by a variation of buoyancy, the vehicle silently glides along the water column, collecting physical, chemical, biological and/or acoustic data, depending on the mission assigned.
The added value of the SeaExplorer lies in the low cost of operation compared to the vessels or other means traditionally mobilised for the same type of mission.

Heat exchangers
ATMOSTAT designs and manufactures a range of high-performance heat exchangers consisting of superimposed pre-machined plates allowing channel geometries dedicated to each application. Assembly of these individual plates calls for metallic bonds produced by a diffusion welding technique assisted by Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP).
This technology, which involves high pressures and temperatures on the parts to be assembled, allows for welding at the heart of the material, not just on the surface. It enables the plates to be welded consistently with no added material, an operation that is impossible using more traditional techniques.

Compaction systems
CHAMPALLE designs and manufactures barrel compacting products and solutions for the nuclear industry, helping to reduce the volume of very low-level waste generated by nuclear installations, in order to increase storage capacity and volume.
CHAMPALLE is also developing compacting solutions for canisters, aerosols and other tanks, with effluent recovery, containment filtration and radiological atmosphere monitoring to reduce waste volumes.

Containment solutions
CHAMPALLE designs and manufactures instrumented glove boxes for nuclear facilities.
For applications that call for class 1 shop-fabricated stainless steel glove boxes, CHAMPALLE manufactures tailored equipment incorporating all of the constraints of nuclear sites relating to the handling, transfer, transformation of radioactive material in a containment, or under controlled neutral gas atmosphere.
Its knowledge and expertise enable it to take into account ventilation classes (renewal rate, dynamic containment), static containment classes (leak rate) and other specifics of the application (e.g. materials in fluid, gas or solid form), especially in glove box applications calling for mechanical processes, fluids or gases imposing specific operating constraints. (T°, P, PH, H2, O2).

Glove box automated and robotised systems
CHAMPALLE designs and manufactures equipment for glove boxes, incorporating high availability instrumentation and control, automation and robotisation.
On new installations or dismantling projects, CHAMPALLE intervenes for process and equipment nuclearisation missions for contaminating environments, on maintainable and decontaminable mechanical and electromechanical systems and processes (conveying, handling, machining, characterisation, etc.).

Hot cell automated and robotised systems
CHAMPALLE designs automated systems, which can be robotised, toughened for specific use in hot cells. The solutions deployed by CHAMPALLE enable highly reliable remote operation where activity levels are high. CHAMPALLE manages all of the specific constraints associated with exposure and maintainability of the shielded cell equipment, in particular compatible materials, connectors and electrical and mechanical penetrations and shielding.
Entirely remotely controllable for hot cell assembly and dismantling, the solutions developed by CHAMPALLE enable equipment to be used in High Activity exposure conditions and allow for remote operation (special connectors, armouring, special materials).
The constraints associated with contamination, material retention, grip and handling of parts (geometries and weights), radiation, ageing and material compatibility are taken into consideration.

Hot cell characterisation test benches
CHAMPALLE has developed a system for characterising and analysing materials and/or nuclear fuels, by cutting, compression, traction and drilling.

Radioactive powder pressing
CHAMPALLE designs and manufactures electromechanical or electrohydraulic presses intended for the production of nuclear fuels of different sizes and geometries, for laboratory applications, in glove boxes or shielded cells.

Radiation-resistant camera
LHERITIER designs, develops and manufactures toughened vision assemblies suitable for ionising and aquatic environments, the APOLLON camera systems.
APOLLON compact systems can withstand radiation levels above 100 Mrd. The sealed camera body (6 bar) is designed for a long service life and has its own light source. APOLLON systems are available with focal lengths of 20 to 90 mm including several options: fixed focal lengths, conventional or prismatic zooms, interchangeable for easier use.

ALSOLEN develops medium-power Fresnel reflector solar thermal power plants (up to 100 MWth or 20 MWe) known by the same name, ALSOLEN. These use oil as the heat transfer fluid and have a direct rock-bed thermocline thermal storage system. The heat transfer fluid reaches a temperature of 300 °C and transfers its thermal energy to applications that, depending on the needs of users, can be combined between: electricity, industrial heat, cold and desalination of seawater. ALSOLEN solar power plants are more specifically designed for operation in an isolated or semi-isolated grid and require an operating level that is not very restrictive.
The originality of ALSOLEN solar thermal power plants lies in part in their design, which incorporates as much manufacturing as possible on the installation site (thanks to the use of a mobile factory), high performance, low, easy maintenance, and a long service life. Integrated thermal storage is used to obtain operational autonomy appropriate to the needs of users, even several hours after sunset.
The technology used for each application corresponds to the design strategy of ALSOLEN power plants. The electricity generation applications use an Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC), the cold is generated by an absorption chiller enabling negative temperatures to be reached and fresh water by multi-effect distillation.
All of the ALSOLEN power plant development work has been done in conjunction with CEA LITEN and ALCEN subsidiaries.
A high-power thermal solar power plant (50 MWe and above) called ALSOLEN SUP is at an advanced stage of development. The ALSOLEN SUP technology will directly generate steam superheated to 450 °C and will have a three-stage thermal storage capacity. It will present specific clean innovations to the market and benefit from ALSOLEN innovations.
